Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons sofrito
½ tsp adobo
salt to taste
½ tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tablespoon sazon
4 oz roasted peppers
5 olives
8 oz tomato sauce with onion, garlic, cilantro
⅔ cup water
1 bay leaves
Directions
Step 1
Preheat pot over medium heat, Add the ground beef to the pot and break down the ground beef as much as possible.
Step 2
Season the ground beef with the adobo, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 3
Cook till Ground beef cooked.
Step 4
Now add the sofrito, olives, red peppers, tomato sauce & some water, sazon, bay leaves mix well and let cook for about 10 minutes till it thickens. Keep in mind to make sure to mix well so it doesn’t burn.
Step 5
Picadillo served with white rice, tostones, aguacate.
